Players Elite Training Camp
The Sharks Academy would like to invite talented young rugby players to broaden their Rugby experience by training in the Southern Hemisphere. A unique opportunity exists for a select group to train at The Sharks Academy for 2 weeks; to experience what is required to become a professional rugby player. Players selected will be given the opportunity to train at one of the best rugby facilities in the world, under the guidance of some of the top coaches in South Africa. This is an opportunity not to be missed.

The Academy teams undertake
annual rugby tours to destinations in South Africa. Several matches are played
against top universities, clubs or provincial teams.
In September, 2017, our selected touring group was taken to Johannesburg where they competed against Vaal University of Technology (VUT) U20 and U21 teams, as well as, the Lions U20 and U21 teams. They also had an opportunity to take part in sightseeing and some recreational activities. What an amazing Tour our boys had with pleasing results too:

In September, 2015 a
touring group was taken to Johannesburg where they competed against the Lions
U19 and U21 teams, as well as taking part in sightseeing and some recreational

In September, 2014 a touring group was taken to play against the Lions and
Leopards U/19 and U/21 teams.
In September, 2013 a touring group was taken to the North West (Rustenburg and
Sun City) and to Gauteng, to play several matches, do sightseeing, etc.
