The requirements are as follows:

Parent or legal guardian minimum Individual Gross Income:
R6 000 per month

Other:
- The loan principal debtor must be over the age of 18 years
- The student/ sponsor should have worked for the same employer or in the same industry for a reasonable period of time and must be permanently employed
- The loan principal debtor must have a clear credit record

Required Documentation:

- Utility bill/ rates and taxes (such as water and lights account) for FICA purposes
- Proof of enrolment/acceptance at a recognised tertiary educational institution
- Proof of income
- South African Identity Document (green, bar-coded)/Smart Card for you and your parent/legal guardian/sponsor

Features:

- Easy loan renewals for every 12 months/academic period
- Up to six (6) months grace period on capital repayment after graduation
- A maximum of 60 months to repay capital, starting after you complete your studies (all academic courses)
- Service 'Interest Only' while the student studies
